Medicine Assisted Therapy

A supported path through depression and PTSD

Medicine-assisted therapy is an emerging treatment pathway for people who haven't found relief through standard care. It is offered here lawfully under Australia's TGA Authorised Prescriber Scheme, with screening, preparation and integration held carefully at every step.

Why we exist

For the people standard treatment hasn't reached

Entheo Psychology began with a simple observation: some people do everything asked of them, the appointments, the medication trials, the years of persistence, and still carry depression or PTSD that won't lift. That is not a failure of the person. It is a reason to carefully consider what the unique elements of each person's situation and what other clinically supervised options may be appropriate.

We exist to offer that possibility with warmth and grounded expertise. This means having unhurried conversations, giving honest answers about what is and isn't known, and providing care that treats you as a whole person.

Preparation

This is where we take the time to get to know your life journey and build the foundations of safety, care and trust which are crucial to this work.

Medicine session

A held, carefully supported session in our calm therapy room. With expert medical and psychological care throughout.

Integration

Making sense and meaning from what was experienced. Carrying these lessons gently back into ordinary life and, if appropriate, acting upon them..

Evidence & safety

Structured, supervised, and honest about the unknowns

Medicine-assisted therapy here follows a structured, medically supervised clinical pathway, with defined safety protocols, careful screening, and medical oversight. Like any clinical treatment, it carries risks and is not suitable for everyone.

It is also a young field. We will always be straightforward with you about what the evidence does and doesn't yet show.

Group Therapy & Life Integration

An open, ongoing space to make sense of it

Our rolling group integration programme is a welcoming, continuing community space for processing medicine-assisted therapy experiences, open to anyone doing this work, not only Entheo's own clients.
